Chiang Dao Nest Thailand Wedding

Here are wedding photos taken of a couple living in Chiang Mai. The wedding was held at two locations – Chiang Dao Nest 1 and Chiang Dao Nest 2. We covered the whole wedding with our unique documentary approach. There was no posing or directing throughout the whole wedding other than wedding group photos. This allow the wedding couple to be themselves and their wedding guests to relax.

We arrived at Chiang Dao Nest 1 at 2PM for getting ready photos. We did the usual shots of bouquet and bridal shoes before shifted focus onto the bride and her family.

Wedding ceremony stated at 3PM on a beautiful grass lawn near swimming pool. The ceremony itself lasted for about 15 minutes. Since this is a destination wedding, the number of wedding guests was limited. After the wedding ceremony, we did group photos of all the wedding guests before proceeded to do few portraits of the bride and groom. The wedding couple has requested that we focus on documenting the wedding and they didn’t want so many group photos or their “posed” portraits.

We then moved to Chiang Dao Nest 2 for drinks where the wedding couple and their guests relax with live Thai tradition music.

The wedding dinner was back at Chiang Dao Nest 1. There was cake cutting and first dance but speeches was omitted.
