Here are photos we took last year of a destination wedding at Chiang Dao Nest 1 in Chiang Dao, Thailand. The wedding couple in these photos was from Singapore. Ching Dao Nest is about 90 minutes drive from Chiang Mai airport.
We started our wedding photography coverage from bride and groom getting ready for their wedding. The couple was getting ready in the same hotel room which makes it easier to photograph both of them. We also used this moment to photograph the ceremony area. The decoration is not normally done more than an hour before the ceremony.
After the wedding ceremony on a beautiful grass lawn by a swimming pool, we did group photos of all the wedding guests before proceeded to do smaller group photos and portraits of the bride and groom.
The wedding dinner was held at a hotel’s restaurant. There was also cake cutting but no speeches or first dance.
The total photography coverage hour for this wedding was 8 hours. This is usually the perfect number for most western style wedding.
